MTC has developed Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) website to ease the access of
the information. MTC wants to replace this site with SharePoint portal server to gain more
features.

The Solution will have two major phases:

Phase I: will have SharePoint Portal Server implementation and migration content from WSS to the new portal.

Phase II: Might include development for web parts, implementing Single Sign on and other advanced features not mentioned during Phase I services and scope. This phase will have separate facts gathering, planning and proposal.

▪ People finder with integration with A.D. 

   (LDAP) including first, last names,

   telephone, extension, position, manager,

   photo.
▪ Points of Presence establishment for 

   connection with people and cooperation
▪ “MySite” feature for each employee with 

   “MyInbox”, “MyCalendar”, “MyTasks”, 

   his/her photo, documents lists, alerts,

   personal and work information.
▪ Organizational Chart, policies, processes 

   and forms to be published.
▪ Backup/Restore jobs for content, design,

   database, platform configuration,
